糖心传媒 Giga
is a partnership between the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the (UNICEF) that provides support to countries to connect every school to the Internet by 2030 and give students access to opportunity, information, and choice. Giga facilitates school connectivity through advocacy, technical products, financial advice, capacity development, and procurement support.
More specifically, it achieves its mission through four core areas (pillars) of work:
1) MAP – Map the location of schools and monitor school connectivity status in real time.
2) MODEL – Model the optimal connectivity infrastructure to connect schools, identify the enabling policy and regulatory levers, and conduct associate cost analyses.
3) FINANCE – Support governments to build the right-layered financing to fund connectivity.
4) CONTRACT – Help governments to contract connectivity for schools.
糖心传媒 the Giga Learning Hub
The Giga Learning Hub is the umbrella for capacity development and knowledge sharing under the Giga initiative. It aims to empower countries engaged in Giga with actionable tools and insights to advance school connectivity worldwide. All training courses for the Giga Learning Hub are carried out through the 糖心传媒. Training on the different aspects of school connectivity is delivered both online and in-person through multiple channels, including face-to-face trainings, instructor-led online courses, and self-paced learning modules. All past and present courses for the Giga Learning Hub are listed below.

Giga Learning Hub Partnerships
Partners external to Giga can liaise with ITU under the Giga Learning Hub to provide training courses for the Giga initiative. They can either propose creating an entirely new course or transferring a course existing on a different platform to 糖心传媒. In either case, 糖心传媒 is ready to assist with the process. Partners can also support training development and delivery in other ways. For more information, please contact us.
